  • The Role of the Covenant: The Covenant of Bahá’u’lláh is the instrument that “guarantees the unity of the free”. 24 It provides the “motivating power” to translate belief into constructive deeds, ensuring that the exercise of freedom contributes to the rehabilitation of the fortunes of mankind rather than social disintegration. 25

In summary, true liberty is the spiritual and social reward of those who willingly submit to divine justice, choosing the “impregnable stronghold” of divine law over the “fanciful theories” and “corrupt desires” of a disintegrating world order. 26 27 28 29
